ASL Interpreter

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced ASL Interpreter that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements:

• Educational Interpreter Certification and/or licensure as required by the State of South Carolina
• RID Certification preferred
• EIPA score meeting South Carolina requirements preferred
• Previous experience interpreting in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

ASL Interpreters for multiple full-time school-based opportunities in South Carolina for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• Face-to-face services only
• 1:1 student assignment
• Opportunities available across all grade levels
• School-based setting

Essential Functions:

• Provide interpreting services for assigned student(s) in the educational environment
• Facilitate communication between students, teachers, staff, and peers
• Support student access to classroom instruction and school activities
• Maintain confidentiality and professional standards
• Collaborate with educational teams to promote student success

Salary:

• $45.00-$49.00 per hour
• $1,665-$1,813 per week
