School Psychologist

School Psychologist Requirements:
- Graduate Degree (M.A., Ed.S., M.S. Ed., Ph.D., Ed.D., or Psy.D.) in psychology, social work, or counseling.
- School Psychologist Certificate in the state of AZ.
- Must be able to obtain, and hold, a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Level One IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card at all times.
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
- Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
School Psychologist Job Description:
- Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location

- Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – Up to 40 hours per week
- Contract follows the academic district calendar
Essential Functions:
- Consult and collaborate with school staff, parents, and outside agency personnel regarding psycho-educational needs of middle school students
- Conduct assessments of children, as deemed appropriate
- Promote educational success and advocate fpr the academic and mental needs of students
Salary:
- $100,800-103,680/School Year
