Special Education Teacher

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2026/2027 school year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Special Education or a related field
• Valid Arizona Special Education Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Previous experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting preferred
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Passion for helping students achieve academic, behavioral, and social success

We are currently seeking a Special Education Teacher for a full-time, onsite opportunity in the Surprise area for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday-Friday – (37.5 hours per week)
• Onsite school-based setting
• 2026–2027 school year assignment
• Special Education classroom assignment
• Support staff available as determined by district needs
• Competitive hourly pay

Essential Functions:

• Provide specialized instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs to support each student’s academic, behavioral, and functional goals.
• Differentiate instruction and adapt curriculum to meet students’ unique learning needs.
• Foster a structured, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and independence.
• Implement positive behavior support strategies and encourage social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success.
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal special education regulations.

Salary:

• Hourly Pay: $50.00-$52.00 per hour/ w2
• Hours per Week: 37.5/hr
• Weekly Pay: $1,875-$1,950
• Estimated Monthly Pay: $8,125-$8,450
