Special Education Teacher

AB Staffing is looking for an experienced Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relation to Special Education from an accredited college or university
• Applicants must hold appropriate Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Special Education Endorsement (LBS1)
• Excellent communication skills with students, teachers and parents
• Knowledge of current teaching techniques for students with disabilities
• Ability to write & implement Individual Education Plans (IEP’s)
• Ability to work cooperatively with support personnel on a daily basis
• Satisfactory special education teaching experience
• Experience with working with Elementary School-age students
