Speech Language Pathologist

AB Staffing is looking for experienced, regional Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2025/2026 school year.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description:

• Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School
  • Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location
• Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 37.5 to 40 hours per week
• Contract follows the academic district calendar

Pay:

• $2,437-2,812 per week DOE

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Speech Pathology, Speech Audiology, Communications Disorders, or similar program.
• National and state certifications: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence, State Speech Language Pathologist Certificate, and State License from the Department of Health Services with teaching credential.
• Valid Certificate of Clearance (COC) from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
• Positive, energetic, and compassionate approach to education.
• Experience in a school and/or pediatric setting preferred.
• Reliable transportation for regional travel.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Overview: Provide speech and language therapy services across the region of Orange, Buena Park, and Chino Hills, to help students improve communication and learning skills.

Essential Functions:

• Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services across assigned schools/facilities.
• Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Supervise or mentor CFs, SLPAs, and support staff as needed.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, billing, and professional standards.
• Travel between sites within the assigned region
