Sterile processing technicians are responsible for the daily cleaning, cooling, assembling, and storing of surgical equipment. You will also be in charge of receiving and tracking all surgical equipment in use at the hospital, as well as colluding with surgical teams to ensure critical equipment is available on time. sterile processing technicians also test out different equipment to ensure they are functioning properly and in case of any malfunctions, you will be required to find suitable replacements.
